What’s the Issue?
The passage had become a frequent fly-tipping hotspot, leading to health and safety concerns as well as negative visual impact. Swann Property submitted a proposal to gate off the passage, aiming to reduce misuse while keeping community needs in mind.
After local consultation and review, the council has now approved a modified approach that introduces practical safeguards without fully restricting access.
Why It Matters
Fly-tipping doesn't just affect aesthetics , it impacts public health, property values, and the wider community. As property managers, we understand the responsibility we hold to protect and improve shared environments.
We’re proud to have played an active role in initiating this change and look forward to seeing the area benefit from a cleaner, safer future.
At Swann Property, we remain committed to solutions that create real, lasting impact.
