Comprising Bradford, Buttershaw and Wibsey, BD6 is situated on the south of Bradford bordered by BD4, BD5, BD7 and BD13.

In 2011 there were 12,639 dwellings. 7.9% of properties are flats while houses make up 92.1% of housing stock (semi-detached properties being the most prevalent housing type). 67.1% of residents own their own homes while 16.7% live in privately rented accommodation.
